World's First Drone Solution for Underground Mines.
Flies, runs, climbs and scans inaccessible zones to save lives, time and money.
Most underground mines lose millions of dollars annually in delays, errant planning and no-gos because they can’t access or scan certain zones. The TILT Ranger addresses two vital needs; laser scanning and hybrid (aerial, terrestrial) access. These need are oft-occurring where terrestrial access or video scans are not applicable solely.
The output is a 3D laser pointcloud map (using SLAM) in addition to video footage. The pointcloud map can be used as it is, converted or processed to extract vital information for the mine or facility managers. Other imaging or mechanical engagements can be customized.
The TILT Ranger is a hybrid land/air drone, it flies, runs on ground and climbs inclines – capacities that are essential in underground mines and similar tight space environments. It does so employing the tilt-rotor technolofy, which Inkonova was one of the first to commercialize in 2015.
