Robotto is a Danish software company committed to creating innovative solutions, that combines robotics and AI, in order to help tackle the effects of climate change.
Our vision is to create autonomous systems for the collection and processing of actionable data that allows our customers to stay one step ahead in the fields of emergency management, wildlife control, aerial inspection maritime surveillance and infrastructure overview.
The core of our technology relies on our Artificial Intelligence, which can correlate RGB and thermal video and photostreams to calculate actionable information to give a reconnaissance edge that allows to manage and allocate resources in a more efficient way, helping to preserve biodiversity, save lives and save nature.
Wildfires are an increasing threat, and due to the effects of climate change, one that will only get worse. In recent years we have seen a consistent increase in the size, frequency and severity of these fires. With examples like the recent fires in California, the bushfires in Australia in 2019, or the fires that scorch the Amazon every year, have led the world to coin the term “Mega-Fires”, as they destroy biodiversity, kill animals and take human lives at an increasing degree.
Our first product, AWRA, consists of a fully autonomous drone system that enables firefighters wildfires in real-time, allowing them to get actionable data on the size, location and direction of the fire. Current reconnaissance methods are unsafe, time-consuming, resource-heavy and they produce inaccurate data. By introducing AWRA we allow doing this for a fraction of the price, while keeping their operators at a safe distance from the fire, where they can focus on fighting it swiftly, to reduce its effects on nature and our planet.
We want to extend the potential of AWRA by implementing onto different platforms such as fixed-wing drones, which will allow for extensive flight time, range and endurance, covering large areas comparable to those of current reconnaissance planes.
Our vision is clear, our mission is set, and we are ready to change the world through robotics!
