Linz, 11th July 2017. The Austrian start-up company Aero Enterprise was awarded for the "Austria's Born Global Champion" prize on 26th June for its outstanding contribution to the internationalization of Austrian business. With this award, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber honours young, globally active companies that offer innovative products and services and are growing fast internationally.
Just three days later, Aero Enterprise was ranked as a finalist in the TOP 3 for its industry-wide innovative concepts in the category "Industry 4.0" for the German Aviation Innovation Award.
Pioneer in airborne quality assurance
The innovative company has developed the world's first airborne quality assurance system for wind turbine inspection including analysis software. The unmanned, semi-automatic mini-helicopter SensorCopter provides plant builders, service providers and operators with high-resolution images and infrared data, which they can evaluate and document within a 3D-environment with the AERO-Lyse software.
"We are pleased about the awards and will continue to set new impulses for aviation and conquer new markets," says Robert Hörmann, Managing Director of Aero Enterprise. At the HUSUM Wind trade fair, the company will for the first time present the new self-developed aircraft for offshore wind turbines, which has a flight time of more than 30 minutes. Visitors will find the Aero Enterprise GmbH on the booth of TÜV Rheinland from 12 to 15 September in Hall 3, booth number C19.
