Nick is CEO and co-Founder of D-RisQ Ltd. He has over 20 years’ experience of embedded systems software and was one of the key authors of DO-178C, the de-facto software standard for aerospace, with a specific focus on DO-333, the Formal Methods Supplement to DO-178C. He has been part of the invite only panel that has been advising FAA/EASA on interpretation of DO-178C and has provided consultancy, training and conducted audit on DO-178C since it was released. Nick has led a number of successful autonomous systems projects for D-RisQ focusing on high integrity software aspects in air, land, sea and sub-sea programmes and currently acts as the Design Authority Chair for OLTER, a programme focussed on offshore autonomous systems.
