Amber Tiger offers a wide range of training programmes designed to enable your team to perform with improved efficiency and greater focus. Built to fit your needs, our training maximises the potential of your staff, reduces overall operating costs and through simulations and practical exercises, prepares them for all eventualities.

COURSE DESIGN/HARDWARE

 Amber Tiger works with clients to develop bespoke courses and produce high quality e-learning courseware to fit the exacting needs of the user. This will include: Training needs Analysis (TNA), Training Pipeline development, Training programme management, Instructor assessment, Train the trainer packages. We work closely with local partners globally to ensure the highest quality training design and delivery for our clients.

INSTRUCTORS/MANAGEMENT

 We will work with you to reduce your aircraft downtime and increase your capability by providing high quality instructors and training management. All of our instructors are ex UK military and have a wealth of experience in delivering and managing complex training needs and requirements, based on recent operations globally.

SIMULATORS AND HARDWARE

 With our global strategic partners, we can deliver proven simulator systems currently in use with military and commercial helicopter operators. These range from a fixed site at the clients chosen location, complete with course design and provision of instructors to a mobile system fitted into a trailer or mobile container allowing the client to move their training delivery to locations of their choice commensurate with airframe location.

COUNTER DRONE SERVICES

 Our instructors are CAA approved pilots giving us the ability to deliver relevant up to date training in accordance with the latest CAA guidelines. In a world where the cost of drones is reducing and sales increasing you can rest easy in the knowledge that training, on both fixed and rotary wing platforms, given by us will meet all current regulations for the commercial operation of unmanned systems.

SERE TRAINING FOR AIRCREW

 Amber Tiger has a wealth of experience in designing and delivering survival training based on guidelines and ethos of UK Special Forces Aviation. With huge levels of recent operational experience, our team can provide training covering downed aircraft, escape and evasion, resistance to interrogation and survival techniques in desert, arctic, jungle, maritime and temperate environments.

PIPELINE INSPECTION

 In certain areas the cost of utilising helicopters to inspect large lengths of oil and gas pipeline becomes a limiting factor for clients. With the ability to survey huge lengths of pipeline or electricity pylons in a day, the use of unmanned systems allows the flexibility to deploy assets rapidly and effectively responding to issues as they arise.

BUILDING AND ENGINEERING INSPECTION

 As technology has moved on, unmanned platforms now provide an ideal method of inspecting either buildings or energy installations for defects or potential catastrophic failures. Using EO/IR sensors or HD cameras real time information can be sent to clients to allow immediate decision-making, mitigating the risk of a delay causing financial losses.

SECURITY

 Small unmanned rotary drones provide an unobtrusive yet hugely viable method of providing security for large gatherings of people or for the security of property/land. Areas that will benefit include music festivals, motor racing events, athletic events, large private properties, commercial premises, football training grounds, large construction sites involving the storage of high value equipment, asset protection and management.

UAV TRAINING

 As with all aviation, training is a vital component. Our instructors are all CAA approved pilots with the ability to deliver relevant and up-to-date training in accordance with the latest CAA guidelines. You can use our offices or we can come to you and train your teams to deliver training, in both cases you are getting the experts in the field.

LIMSAR/FULL SAR CAPABILITY

We have experience of providing crews and training/management for Search and Rescue operations globally. We can provide both rear crew and pilots with a wealth of SAR experience from the UK military including the high threat, hugely dynamic sphere of battlefield casualty evacuation and pre hospital care from recent operations in Afghanistan.

CONSULTANCY

If you have a rotary aviation/UAV contract that requires specific advice or knowledge then we can help. We have experience of working with large OEMs including Boeing and Lockheed Martin in bid compilation resulting in successful bids for multi-million pound contracts. HELICOPTER TRAINING SERVICES

We can provide personnel to assist with advice for TV and Film productions. We have had the pleasure of working on World War Z and supporting Bushcraft Expeditions in Malaysia providing survival advice for ‘Dropped’ a Swedish reality TV production.
