The Altus ORC2 electric combines the efficiency of a traditional VTOL helicopter platform, with the versatility of a modern multirotor flight model. This equates to incredible performance, with superior payload capacities and good endurance.
The Altus ORC4 helicopter employs an advanced and reliable fuel injected engine and management system that combines incredible performance, with useful payload capacity and good endurance.
What is unique about the Altus helicopter is the autopilot system which gives it the same docile flight characteristics of the Altus multirotor platforms. Flight control and planning are managed from the same GCS system to perform an even wider range of survey, inspection and ISR roles than the other Altus systems. With its large payload capacity, the helicopter can carry inspection or ISR, photogrammetric survey and LiDAR payloads all at once. Production models can also be uniquely fitted with the patented Altus emergency ballistic parachute for risk mitigation, payload protection and lowered insurance premiums.
LRX stands for "Long Range Extreme Weather" and combines our trademark toughness and high wind tolerance with extended flight duration, and wide area coverage on survey and mapping missions.
The Swift is our lightweight survey and inspection platform.
It folds away into a small package, and is easily transported in a backpack or small case. When ready for deployment it can be unfolded in seconds and launched immediately. The Swift can also mount the patented Altus emergency parachute system.
