What is unique about the Altus helicopter range is the autopilot system which gives it the same docile flight characteristics of the Altus multirotor platforms. Flight control and planning is managed from the same GCS system enabling the system to perform an incredibly wide range of roles than other UAVs. With its large payload capacity, the ORC2 can carry a combination of inspection or ISR, photogrammetric survey, LiDAR payloads and more! Production models can also be fitted with the patented Altus emergency ballistic parachute for risk mitigation, payload protection and lowered insurance premiums.
