Animal Dynamics Ltd

Animal Dynamics builds uncompromised solutions from first principal engineering that will protect human life in dangerous environments. Headquartered in Cowley, Oxford UK, the start-up technology company now stands at 100 employees and is accelerating the commercial rollout of STORK-STM; an autonomous, heavy-lift parafoil wing drone built to deliver up to 135KG of cargo over a distance of 400KM within last mile military resupply and humanitarian aid missions.

STM requires a 50M take-off and landing runway and can fly from any terrain type. Its robust, easily repairable, and easily transportable design makes it an ideal solution for industries where time is critical, all whilst operating autonomously. Operational as a singular vehicle or as part of a fleet, STM will also feature built in detect and avoid systems, able to cope in GNSS denied spaces and a system for safe landing site identification; ideal for assessing where to land in an emergency or deliberate landing.

The STORK-ST25 vehicle which is operational today features similar capabilities to STM but on a smaller scale. The payload is at a lighter weight of 10KG over a 40KM range, but a differentiating factor is the ST25's lidar mapping capabilities. This vehicle is currently in use by specialist users and is available for customer evaluation trials.
