We are leading experts in the application of the Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) methodology developed by JARUS to fly drones in the new EASA “Specific” Category.
In this context EuroUSC Italia can provide support to operators at two different levels:
• Perform a “traditional” SORA based safety assessment: starting from the Conops in which the operator has defined all the operational details mitigation strategies are proposed, to ensure the operation can be carried out safely.
• Perform a “reverse” SORA based safety assessment: starting from the organisational details and the technical features of the UAS employed, it is possible to determine the range of operations allowed according to SORA.

EuroUSC Italia, established in Rome, is a joint venture between Deep Blue Srl and Prof. Filippo Tomasello, able to support Manufacturers, Operators, Insurance companies, Authorities.
Thanks to a highly dynamic and professional team, we can satisfy customers expectations conjugating high quality with competitive fares. Furthermore, as a consulting company operating in the aeronautical sector comparable to the “Qualified Entities” required by the EU Reg. 216/2008, we are completely independent from organisations involved in design, production, marketing or maintenance of RPAS, parts, components or systems, as well as from RPAS operators and flying schools, in line with Annex V to Basic EASA Regulation (EU) 216/2008.
